During a festive event, management, guests from politics and industry as well as employees at the company headquarters in Leipzig today looked back on 25 years of Bell in Germany. Acquired by Treuhand in 1993, Bell Flavors & Fragrances GmbH has developed into a major player in the fragrance and flavour industry. The driving forces behind this successful development are strategic investments in the areas of logistics, research and development and quality management.
Bell's largest single investment in Germany is its 4,200 square metre logistics centre, which was completed in 2017. In recent years, quality assurance has also been further expanded and additional production capacities have been created. Investments in recent years have also included the acquisition of new laboratory equipment.
Bell's development into an internationally successful company reflects the dynamics of the entire region. Dr. Michael Schimansky from the Office for Economic Development emphasised in his speech the internationality with which Bell brings the city and the surrounding area forward.US Consul General Timothy Eydelnant also referred in his speech to the fact that the Heinz family led the inheritance taken over in 1993 to new splendour with great skill and tact and thus stands for living transatlantic relations today.
The company's marketing department took the anniversary as an opportunity to produce its first image movie for Bell. The video presented at the festive event shows in just over three minutes the entire spectrum of products in which Bell is represented with its fragrances and flavours. The film can be seen here: https://youtu.be/z6owlFjQTqc.
Furthermore, the artist Beat Toniolo, who has a friendly relationship with the company, presented a 152-page art book on the fascination of scent and flavour. "IchriecheichschmeckeineinemZug" (“I smell and taste in one go”) illuminates the world of smelling and tasting from different angles. The book can be purchased directly from the company at a price of 37 euros. Contact: email@example.com.
