Magic Scents for the Orient. 

Bell EMEA at Beautyworld Middle East

Beauty and scent conjure it up each year in the exhibition halls of the Dubai International Convention Center on Sheikh Zayed Road – the image of the magical Orient during Beautyworld Middle East. The German fragrance and flavour producer Bell Flavors & Fragrances EMEA has participated successfully in the industry's leading trade fair for many years now. From May 8 to 10, the company will once again present its latest fragrance developments and bestsellers in the German Pavilion at booth S1 D26.

Innovations and Bestsellers

In its booth of more than 40 square meters, Bell EMEA presents elegant European fragrances as well as mystical oriental compositions for fine fragrances. With concepts such as "Super Grains" for beauty products or perfume classics for fabric softeners, Bell is pushing impulses for personal and household care products. In addition, the company is taking the stage to demonstrate its strength in encapsulation technology. The product innovation Scent2Last is, for example, an intensive perfume cream that holds just as much perfume oil as otherwise only classic fine perfumes. This makes the product an interesting alternative and is ideal to take with you.

"The development of our products for the Arab region draws on our many years of expertise in the region. We know the preferences of our clients and know how to translate them into innovative fragrances. These are characterised in particular by their intensity at moderate prices," explains Vice President Michael Heinz.

Successful in the Middle East

In the year of its 25th anniversary in Germany, Bell is more successful than ever in the Middle East. "In the past years, we have been able to significantly increase sales in the region. Customers throughout the Gulf region as well as in North Africa and India are strengthening our success on an international level, "reports Michael Heinz. 'Made in Germany' is appreciated. In 2018, Bell opens a new sales office in Dubai to keep up with rising demand.

As one of three major fairs in the region, Beautyworld Middle East plays a prominent role for Bell. In addition, the company already exhibited at Beauty & Clean in Tehran in 2018. From June 24 to 27, the company's Flavour Division will be present its latest beverage developments at Iran Food & Bevtec.

Bell Anniversary

25 Years of Innovation arisen from Tradition.

For Bell, the year 2018 is all about its anniversary. As a successful family-owned business, the German-based manufacturer of flavors and fragrances has been representing creativity, innovation and reliability for 25 years now.

Today, future-oriented flavours and fragrances are born from pioneering creativity and state-of-the-art facilities in an area which, in the 19th century, was dominated by rose fields. The extraction of essential oils from those plants that were imported from Bulgaria exactely for this purpose was one of the innovations of Schimmel & Co. – Bell‘s predecessor, founded in Leipzig in 1829, once was one of the world’s most renowned and oldest manufacturers of flavours and fragrances.

This potential was recognised by the US based company Bell that took over the facility in 1993 and established an independent branch with Bell Flavors & Fragrances GmbH. At that time, few had any idea what a success story company founder Raymond Heinz would write.

Visionary into the Future

Starting with 60 employees in the Leipzig district of Miltitz, the company has grown to almost 300 people that are employed today in research and development, production, sales and marketing. Over the years, the company has also established creative centers and sales offices throughout Europe as well as in the Middle East.

Bell EMEA grew into an international manufacturer of flavours and fragrances thanks to extensive strategic investments. Today, the headquarters in Leipzig/Germany, with its 200,000-square-metre surface area, is among the largest and most modern production sites for flavours and fragrances in Europe. The logistics centre, completed in 2017 – one of Bell‘s largest single investments in Germany – has not only laid the foundations for optimal cargo handling, but also expanded the reach of quality assurance, ensuring that the highest of standards will continue to be met going forward.

It is through this focus on technology, innovation, research and development that Bell has
secured its leading position in the industry.

Fragrances & Botanicals Inspired by Nature

Right in the middle of the Fragrance Zone of in-cosmetics Global 2018 in Amsterdam, Bell Flavors & Fragrances EMEA will present innovative concepts for all kinds of personal care products. From 17 to 19 April, the Germany-based company will present fragrances and botanical extracts that are either fully natural or based on treasures from Mother Nature. Let Bell inspire yourself at stand no. P41!

The almost endless variety of natural ingredients has motivated Bell’s perfumers and application technologists to create extraordinary fragrances and extracts for both, natural and conventional personal care products. At in-cosmetics Global 2018, Bell will inspire cosmetics manufacturers with compositions for skin, hair and body care with a natural touch.

From Local to Exotic – Fragrance Trends 2018/19

This year’s fragrance trends refer to local landscapes on the one hand and exotic notes on the other. Consumers with a balanced lifestyle will fall in love with fragrances reminding of Northern landscapes or a healthy cup of tea. Others who prefer exotic ingredients will be keen on unconventional Asian citrus fruits. For in-cosmetics, in addition to a synthetic range, Bell’s perfumers have developed completely natural fragrances.

The Evolution of Super Food – Super Grains

Super Grains are full of power for health and beauty. They stand for precious nutrients, naturalness and balance. Bell’s botanical experts have developed new extracts from ancient whole grains and millet that are perfect add-ons for nourishing hair care, creams and lotions. The according fragrances interpret grains like spelt, teff and sorghum in a perfumistic way.

Inspired by Trees – Fragrances for Men Care

Trees generally symbolise strength, stability and vitality – attributes that fit will to products for men. Thus, Bell offers fragrances for male grooming inspired by classic trees like oak, marple or chestnut. The concept includes accompanying botanical extracts recommended in combination with each fragrance.

Inspiring Europe and Middle East

The tradeshow season for the fragrance industry is just about to begin. Bell EMEA will fascinate with new creations at three major exhibitions taking place in Europe and the Middle East: At in-cosmetics Global in Amsterdam (17.-19.04.), Bell will attract visitors with fragrances inspired by Mother Nature. In Teheran, at Beauty & Clean Iran (26.-29.04.), the Germany-based manufacturer will focus on each of its strategic business units; Personal Care, Household Care and Fine Fragrances. Whereas in Dubai, at Beautyworld Middle East (08.-10.05.), the fragrance house will concentrate on its expertise in fine fragrances.

In Touch with Mother Nature in Amsterdam

At in-cosmetics Global in Amsterdam, Bell will inspire cosmetics manufacturers from April 17 to 19 with compositions for skin, hair and body care that take consumers on a journey into fields, forests and wild Nordic landscapes. The portfolio includes fragrances reminding of trees as well as Super Grains – a new form of Super Food that makes its way into personal care right now.

Expertise in Fragrances for the Middle East

At Beauty & Clean taking place from April 26 to 29 in Teheran, Iran, and Beautyworld Middle East from May 8 to 10 in Dubai, UAE, Bell will present its latest fine fragrance developments and bestsellers for oriental noses.

„Our longstanding experience in the Middle East makes me very confident when it comes to our fragrance creations for this region. Our clients value German quality which we will present once again. I’m really looking forward to strengthen existing customer relationships, but also to build new ones during the tradeshows,“ explains Vice President Michael Heinz.
