From the 11th to the 15th of September, drinktec Munich once again proved itself as the world's leading industry event as well as the most important platform for manufacturers and suppliers of the beverage and liquid food industry.
The 5-day event in Munich brought together more than 76.000 trade visitors from more than 170 countries and has surpassed all expectations. This year's drinktec was the most successful event in the 66-year history of the trade show with a significant visitor plus of 12%. The international relevance of the fair is not only shown in the high proportion of international visitors (67%) but above all in the variety of exhibitors and themes. In total, 1749 exhibitors from 80 different countries presented the latest trends, product developments and packaging and production solutions for the beverage industry. The special focus of this year’s trade show was on the brewing industry, especially on the Megatrend Craft, which was specially promoted in its own area "Home & Craft“. Not least because of the first cooperation with the SIMEI exhibition area, visitors from the wine, sparkling wine and spirits segment were also satisfied.
The visitors and exhibitors of drinktec were particularly impressed by the high degree of innovation and new developments that could be viewed and tasted in the Innovation Flow Lounge and New Beverage Concepts Area. More than 15 different beverage innovations were served at the New Bev Bar Area in Hall B1, including Bell's unique beverage concepts. Another highlight was the presentation of the World Beverage Innovation Award and the diverse range of networking platforms for visitors and exhibitors.
Bell presented itself on a 24 m² booth, centrally located in Hall B1 in the Innovation Flow Lounge.
Thanks to the highly motivated Bell team of Sales Managers, Marketing Experts, Flavorists and Application Managers from our headquarter in Leipzig and our international offices, the fair was a big success for Bell. Altogether, more than 140 meetings were held at our booth, with both – already existing customers and new, promising business contacts, allowing us to gain new ideas for developing our businesses and to put our customer relations on a strong footing.
Bell‘s innovative and extraordinary concepts were dedicated to the Megatrend „Inspired by Craft“. Especially the selection of refreshing Craft Lemonades convinced Bell’s visitors at the booth as well as the guests of the Innovation Flow Lounge Bar, not least because of their full, natural taste. With this concept, but also with a selected range of Craft Ciders, Bell demonstrated its strong expertise and high innovative power in the field of botanical extracts. Bell‘s exceptional competence in rounding off and enhancing beers and beer mixers was of particular interest for the brewing industry.
